What we publish
We publish plain-language summaries of Canadian immigration news, practical newcomer resources, and moderated community stories and questions from Albanian-speaking people in Canada.
Sourcing
Every immigration news item links back to the official Government of Canada / IRCC source. We do not paraphrase third-party news outlets as if they were primary. If we cannot verify a fact against an official source, we do not publish it.
Dating
Editorial articles carry three dates: Published (first release), Last reviewed (most recent human review of the content), and Source checked (most recent time we opened the linked official page and confirmed the summary still matches).
Editorial vs. community content
Editorial content is written and reviewed by the site’s editorial team. Community content is submitted by readers, moderated by a human before it appears, and is always labelled “Community submission”. Community submissions reflect the personal experience or opinion of the author, not our editorial position.
No legal advice
Nothing on the site is legal or immigration advice. Immigration rules change frequently — always confirm current requirements directly with IRCC or a licensed immigration professional (RCIC or lawyer) before making a decision.
Corrections
If you spot an error, email zgenerationemigrants@gmail.com with the page URL and what needs to change. Corrections are made promptly and the “Last reviewed” date is updated.
Independence
We are an independent community platform. We are not paid by any government, immigration consultant, employer, or education agency to publish or promote content.
